Alternative pop singer, songwriter and producer, Jimmy Nevis will perform on Sunday January 29 in the start to the 2023 Sun-Set@Baxter concert series.
Born and raised in Athlone, Nevis signed with Rude World Records, releasing his debut album, Subliminal, in November of 2012.
Now, after a decade in the industry and driven by how music feels as opposed to its sound, Nevis releases his latest album, Things we don’t talk about. “As an artist and a songwriter, it’s a very special time because I’ll be sharing some things that I don’t think I’ve even said out loud,” says Nevis, “But overall about celebrating my unapologetic self.”
Nevis performs at The Baxter garden at 6pm with doors opening at 5pm. Audiences can take their picnic baskets, picnic chairs and blankets but only alcohol purchased from The Baxter’s bar will be permitted.
Tickets cost R225. Book through Webtickets.
