Grassy Park captain promoted

Lieutenant Colonel Ashley Petersen was promoted from captain to lieutenant colonel at the end of October and will be taking up his new post at Cape Town Central police station, on Thursday December 1. Lieutenant Colonel Petersen had been stationed at Grassy Park SAPS for 17 years. “I enjoyed community interaction and built up trust with a challenging community, especially Parkwood,” he said. “It’s with a heavy heart that I have to leave but I will give the same commitment and dedication to Cape Town SAPS. Those who have my contact details should note that my number will not be in existence after December 1,” said Lieutenant Colonel Petersen.
