Steenberg Primary School was given 120 masks which were distributed among four walking bus members of the school who handed them over to the pupils on their way to the school. The masks were donated by the Groote Schuur Lion’s Club. “Councillor Sharon Cottle (Ward 58) who is the first vice president and branch secretary of the Lions club was thrilled to be able to hand over the masks to the school,” said her assistant Leandre Layman.
Daniel Jansen, principal, said the masks came in very handy as “children often forget their masks at home”.
