Lions show they care

The New World Foundation in Lavender Hill received 10 dignity bags for abuse victims from the Lions Club of Tokai as part of the 16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children Campaign, on Saturday December 10. The bags include soap, deodorant, sanitary pads, socks and other basic necessities. Charmaine Slinger-Smith, far left, and Thelman Oppelt, far right, from the New World Foundation, are seen here with Lions Gail Darling, Anthia Veldsman, Mark Rossouw, Jennifer Appany and Roma Elias.
