The Maynardville Garden Market (MGM) took place in Wynberg, at the weekend.
The market offered traditional foods, sushi, ready cooked meals as well as designer clothing stalls.
A cooking competition was held on Sunday. Judges included food bloggers and Bonteheuwel residents, Aunty Florence “Flori” Schrikker and Aunty Koelsoem Kamalie, authors of the book, Kook Saam Kaaps. Satin to Sequins, the story of the Woodstock Darlings, was staged in the evenings at the amphitheatre behind the market.
