The Cape Town Ulama Board and Cape Town Islamic Educational Centre (CTIEC) members united with Al Jama-ah in a picket outside Pelican Park Shopping Centre to show support for the people of Palestine, on Saturday.
Shaykh Sayed Ridhwaan Mohamed, exco member of Cape Town Ulama Board, said: “The picket organised by Al Jama-ah is a powerful display of unity and a call for justice. By coming together on the main road of Pelican Park, they are raising awareness about the devastating consequences of the Israeli aggression and the urgent need for solidarity with the Palestinians.”
