Hewat Athletic Club held its Paris-themed end-of-year awards presentation at the Hellenic community centre, in Mouille Point, at the weekend. The 29-year-old-club’s two-day annual Festival of Running, held on Sea Point Promenade in July, is a favourite on the Western Province Athletics race calender, with race director Winston Brooks encouraging runners to enter early to help make next year’s 25th edition of the festival a bumper one. The event includes a 5x5km relay, 21km and 50km runs. Pictured are some of the winners at Sunday’s presentation.
