Cape Town City Ballet’s I Got Rhythm opened to a standing ovation at the Artscape on Friday May 17.

The production, choreographed by Cape Town City Ballet’s artistic producer, David Nixon, will run until Sunday May 26.

It is set to the music of George Gershwin played every night by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Brandon Phillips.

Guest artists include Joburg Ballet, David Ward from BalletMet, Jazzart and Cape Town Opera. Tickets cost from R180 to R750 through Webtickets or Artscape Dial-A-Seat on 021 421 7695.
