Internationally acclaimed fashion designer Thebe Magugu has partnered with celebrity couple Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida to debut the new Magugu F.C Training Kit.
On Wednesday, Magugu and the Madida’s took to social media, revealing pictures from the photoshoot showcasing the women’s league Magugu F.C shift dress with an Obi-Belt, and the men’s Magugu F.C pink jersey.
Magugu also exclusively revealed that Bantwini and Madida will release their joint project this year.
Bantwini and Madida are both well-known figures in the South African entertainment scene. Madida gained prominence for her presenting, acting, and singing skills while her husband a celebrated producer and singer-songwriter, with a Grammy award.
Beyond their successes, the couple's unwavering support for each other is a hallmark of their relationship. They often champion one another's projects, proving that love is indeed a powerful force in fostering creativity and ambition.
The winner of the 2019 LVMH Prize, last year launched his new collection of fashionable soccer jerseys, the “Magugu F.C”.
For the campaign launch of the Magugu F.C ‘Home’ Jersey, the Kimberly-born star featured a creative football team consisting of Clement Manyathela as the goalkeeper, Focalistic as the striker, Bongeziwe Mabandla as the left winger, Nelson Makamo as the attacking midfielder, Charlie Mothakathi on the left back, Karabo Poppy on the right wing, Yanga Yaya on the right back, DJ Lag on the centre back, Priddy Ugly as the defensive midfielder and himself as the head coach.
The Magugu F.C Training Kit for women & men becomes available on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
