Sherlock Holmes And The Curse Of The Queen’s Diamond will be staged at Theatre on the Bay, in Camps Bay, from Wednesday January 18 to Saturday January 28.
Written by Robert Fridjhon, this inventive tale is the one case the British Empire never wanted mentioned.
It stars Fridjhon; Craig Jackson, best known for his film and television work (Kota Life Crisis, Skwizas, Binneland and Isidingo), especially his role as Featherstone in seasons 2, 3 and 4 of the international series, Black Sails; and assistant writer Bronwyn Gottwald, whom television audiences saw as Barker Haines’s lawyer in Isidingo and theatre audiences will know from numerous productions including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Overruled, Boeing-Boeing, The Mousetrap, Funny Business and Twitch.
The show is directed by Alan Swerdlow, who recently returned from a season directing opera in the UK and Italy.
It is suitable for the whole family. Tickets cost R100, R120 and R160.
Book at Computicket or call the theatre at 021 438 3301.
