TRESemmé and MaXhosa Africa are again joining forces to celebrate African beauty, culture, and self-expression on a global stage.
As preparations for Paris Fashion Week in March gain momentum, the partnership promises to push the boundaries of creativity and heritage-driven fashion even further.
Since the launch of TRESemmé’s 'All Hair, All You' campaign in July 2024 and their groundbreaking showcase at Paris Fashion Week in September, this collaboration has solidified its place as a powerful platform for cultural representation.
The partnership, rooted in a shared vision of celebrating African identity through hair and fashion, champions self-expression and inclusivity in the beauty industry.
This mission aligns seamlessly with MaXhosa Africa’s commitment to honouring Xhosa culture through intricate designs and bold aesthetics.
Their collaboration has already led to several high-profile activations, including a New York Fashion Week in-store event, where TRESemmé showcased the versatility of African hair through expert styling.
During last year’s Paris Fashion Week, MaXhosa Africa made history with TRESemmé as its official backstage hair partner, featuring avant-garde hairstyles that perfectly complemented the MaXhonaissance collection.

Looking ahead to the upcoming Paris Fashion Week, expectations are high for an even more impactful showcase.
The 2025 presentation will emphasise heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary African identity, with top hairstylists collaborating closely with MaXhosa Africa’s visionary designer, Laduma Ngxokolo, to create striking hair looks that seamlessly integrate with the new collection.
“This partnership is about more than just fashion and hair – it’s about showcasing our culture with pride and confidence on a global stage,” says Ngxokolo.
“We’ve seen the power of representation in resonating with audiences, and we’re ready to take it even further in 2025.”
With a fusion of African fashion and hair artistry taking center stage, TRESemmé and MaXhosa Africa are setting new standards for beauty and culture worldwide.
