Sunlight green bar is one of the most used products in a South African household. Besides being used to bathe or do laundry, beauty content creators have found better ways to use it.
Below are creative ways to use sunlight green bar as part of your self-care routine.
As an edge control
Most people like doing edges on their baby hair. If you have 4c-type hair, you would know how challenging it is to keep those hairs flat.
To keep them intact, instead of a gel, the girls are now using sunlight green bar. You dip it in water, scrap some using an edge brush and lay your edges.

As a shampoo
Transitioning from relaxed hair to an afro is not easy. To make the hair a bit stiff and shorten the transitioning process by cutting the hair, most people have successfully used the green bar soap to wash their hair.
As an eyebrow gel
The eyebrow trend has changed significantly in the past few years. The 2016 trend of drawing eyebrows with an eye-liner is long gone.
Nowadays, make-up enthusiasts use eyebrow gels to lay down their eyebrows and fill where necessary. However, green bar soap works just as well if you can’t afford an eyebrow gel.
As deodorant
Some people cannot afford simple basics like deodorant and since it’s hot, armpits tend to sweat a lot and sometimes leave a funky smell.
If you can’t afford deodorant, simply dip the green bar soap in cold water and rub it on your underarms. That way, you won’t have to worry about smelly armpits.
