Wetland bridge closed

A portion of the Lower Silvermine Wetland is closed due to structural damage to the cable bridge. Mayoral committee member for water and sanitation Zahid Badroodien said phase two of the wetland rehabilitation was under way and all work was expected to be completed by the end of June and before the start of the western leopard toad’s breeding season in July.
