The second Thursday of October is recognised internationally as Ombuds Day, and the City ombudsman will hold a meeting at the Parow civic centre on Wednesday October 30, from 4pm to 6pm, as part of a month of events to raise awareness about the profession. The City ombudsman investigates complaints from the public about municipal service delivery, but complainants must first show proof that they have tried to approach the relevant department first to resolve the issue. To lodge a query or complaint, take your C3 reference number(s), proof of evidence and a copy of your ID.
