The Durbanville police and the community police forum have advised cyclists and runners to be extra careful between 4am and 7am on the corner of De Villiers Drive, Sport Way and Fairtrees Road, in Durbanville, as criminals are targeting them. “The criminals are robbing people of their jewellery and cellphones… Conceal your valuables in a backpack or bag that cannot be easily identified,” the CPF said.
