Ilitha Labantu, a non-profit organisation, donated uniforms and shoes to 67 needy children at Nobantu Primary School in Gugulethu on Monday. “This initiative was about more than just clothing it was about restoring dignity, promoting equality, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn without barriers,” said Ilitha Labantu spokesman Siyabulela Monakali. Community leader Xolile Ndzoyi said: “Some of the children come from very poor backgrounds and this uniform will make them feel good and be able to focus on their school work." School principal Winiswa Bulawa-Nkuhlu said the donation was a morale booster for the children.
