Kuils River resident makes her comeback to the Mrs South Africa semi-finals

Kuils River’s Anita Momberg is among 94 semi-finalists of the 2025 Mrs South Africa season.

She was selected at the national casting which was held in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre in Pretoria on Friday January 31.

The ⁠finalists will be selected at the showcase event on Friday July 4 at the Emperors Palace in Johannesburg, where 30 contestants will be selected, and the finals will also be held in Johannesburg on Friday November 14.

“This time, I bring more wisdom, resilience, and an even greater passion to inspire others. I want to show that setbacks are simply set-ups for comebacks, and that true success lies in the courage to rise again.” Ms Momberg said.

In 2023, she was among 30 women who competed in the finals of the Mrs South Africa pageant.

Mrs South Africa’s main purpose is to equip women with leadership and communication skills through public speaking workshops, brand-building sessions, and mentorship.

“Watching women step out of their comfort zones and into the spotlight gives us valuable insight into their potential and their courage to grow, which is why we feel the live public castings are so important,” said Joani Johnson, CEO of Mrs SA.
