Community leader and teacher Irafaan Abrahams, founder of the community outreach organisation Hakuna Matata, reached out to Parkwood Primary School, and handed over school shoes; socks and beanies to "every one of the 683 learners" on Saturday May 10, according to acting principal Vaughn Adriaanse. He said they also treated all the pupils and their parents who were invited to a wholesome meal and a goodie bag. Even the staff received a meal and a goodie bag. "We thank Mr Abrahams and his crew and we echo their war-cry, Hakuna Matata."
