Steenberg police have asked for the community’s assistance after the burnt body of a female was discovered on Monday January 2 behind the Retreat post office in Crestway Road.
The body was found wrapped in blankets.
Provincial police spokesperson Wesley Twigg said a post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death and encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
