The ceremonial turning of the sod at the start of construction of Keswick Village in Elfindale was attended by ward councillor Kevin Southgate, on Wednesday February 1.
This project had been a long time in the making with the tender having been awarded by the City of Cape Town in 2019.
Mr Southgate commented that this is the type of partnership between the City and the private sector which is needed to address the housing shortage in the southern suburbs of the Cape peninsula.
