SP awards top achievers

Head girl Nadeema Emandien, former South Peninsula High School pupil Professor Shirley Zinn and head boy Yusri Theunissen.

South Peninsula High School held a valedictory ceremony for the matric class of 2022 held on Thursday October 20.

Some of SP’s achievers, at back, are Zayaan Galant, Firdous Samsodien, Firdous Samsodien, Caitlin Jacobs, Charna De Wet, Talitha Alfos. In front, Cassidy Engel and Nura Samsodien.

“Our guest-speaker was former student Professor Shirley Zinn. Shirley, through her trust, Cebisani Youth Development, has assisted the school this year with funding in the subject of Physical Sciences,” said principal Zeid Baker.
