Tazkiyah women and youth empowerment projects’ members Natheerah de Villiers, from Eastridge, Rabia Fagodien, her mom Ayesha, her daughter Mawwadah, 11, from Colorado Park, Asma Nolan, from Woodlands, Galeemah Breda, from Eastridge, Nazeema Richards, from Heideveld, and Faiza Sasman, from Grassy Park. They hosted their first “Muslimah souk” (Muslim women’s market place) at Westridge civic centre on Saturday August 13.
