We started our non-profit company (NPC), in April 2020 as we saw a huge need in our communities.
We started feeding 100 kids and now we are serving 3 000 mouths mostly between Lavender Hill to Pelican Park. Our mission is to ensure no child goes to bed hungry but due to limited resources we can't do more as our hands can reach far but together our hands can reach so much further.
Working closely with the communities, we see on a daily basis how we lose our young boys to gangsters and to drugs. Our boys are suffering in silence.
Parents can barely afford to purchase the basic essentials as the cost of living is so high. If you have a R20 you can either buy a bread or electricity and the last thing on the list will be bar of soap.
Everywhere everyone is collecting sanitary towels for girls but do we do enough for our boys?
They are often the ones not speaking up. The gangsters see their circumstances and ask them to join the gang. They have to stand firm and say no. They are the ones being approached to sell the drugs many of these kids end up doing just to help their moms to survive.
I am appealing for your help to help us to ease the burden of many. Let’s rise and restore humanity and cleanliness by providing at least 300 boys with a toiletry pack.
We can't do this alone. The wish list includes toothpaste, toothbrushes, facecloths, roll-on, spray or deodorant, foot powder and socks.
Any donation will be highly appreciated.
