On Thursday June 22, the community and Schnell family lost the centrepiece of their family, a woman of stature, simplicity and respect.
Edith Ann Schnell, originally from Grassy Park who lived in Seawinds, was well loved by all and was one of the eldest residents at the age of 91.
A memorial service will be held at the United Reformed Church, in Retreat, today, Wednesday June 28, at 7pm and the funeral service will be at the same church on Saturday July 1, starting at 9am.
