I am putting down my community sword and resigning from all comments, activities, actions and assistance with immediate effect.
I am no longer available for any more community issues as I want to spend much more time with my loved ones and live out my hobby.
I leave with my head held high but others must now take up the community sword and fight the good fight for service delivery and the rights of the vulnerable and the poor of our communities.
I want to thank my wife, Tina, who was my counsellor and support base and my family, the City of Cape Town officials, the media and other community activists and leaders.
This is the final countdown for me as I put my community sword in its sheath. God Bless.
