The Destroyer, Darrin Rossouw, ready for action.

Wynberg boxer Cristiano Ndombassy bounced back to winning ways with a first round technical knockout win over Darrin Rossouw at the Fight Island event at Cabo Beach Club on Saturday, October 19.

It took Ndombassy 34 seconds to get the job done in front of a packed venue, extending his winning tally to 14 wins and nine losses.

A former WBF International Super Welterweight Champion, Ndombassy’s previous three fights were losses. The win against his former sparring partner, Rossouw was a statement that “his story is yet to be done”.

Rossouw’s record, however, dropped to three losses and eight wins after the TKO in the main bout.

The event was organised by Insane Boxing Promotions and ML Boxing Promotions.
