Published

STAR PERFORMER: Mia-Jay Davids, 10, a Grade 5 pupil at Floreat Primary School, in Retreat, finished in second place, in the girls’under-11 division, at the national primary schools championships, in Germiston, at the weekend. With limited training facilities and equipment, the school’s athletics coach, Daniel Coetzee, said they are forced to improvise and do what they can to make it work. Luckily we have a community soccer field next to the school that we have access to.
