Hout Bay All Stars through to Coke Cup quarters

Newly-established Hout Bay All Stars FC flew the flag for the Good Hope Local Football Association at the weekend's round of 16 Coke Cup matches, played at Rooikrans sports complex, in Grassy Park. All Stars beat a 10-man Woodlands United 3-0 in a somewhat tense affair that saw Woodlands goalkeeper Chadwin Fortune sent off in the first half following an altercation with the referee. In only their first appearance in the competition, All Stars outplayed the former champions to became the first side from the area to make it to the Top 8 section of what is considered Safa Cape Town's flagship competition. They will now face either Bayhill United or Norway Parks in the quarter-finals.
