Playing at home on Saturday, VOB maintained their unbeaten run in the Cape Town Major League with an emphatic 11–2 victory over Bellville, at Chukker Road.
Pitchers Jesse Johnson and Tyron Brickhill combined brilliantly on the mound, limiting Bellville’s batting lineup to just one hit between them. Johnson conceded a single hit and struck out three batters, while Brickhill was flawless, allowing no hits and also sending three batters packing.
On the plate, Luke November (2-for-5), Liam Willenberg (2-for-5) and Jordyn Riffel (2-for-4) led the charge for the home side with consistent hitting performances that kept the scoreboard ticking.

For Bellville, starting off pitcher Bryce McClelland delivered a strong early shift, striking out 10 batters while conceding just two hits before handing the ball to Stuart Baron (six hits) and Kian Africa (one hit) in relief.
The result marked VOB’s third consecutive win of the season, cementing their place at the top of the league standings.
