Kasi Invitational Games Week Six results and upcoming fixtures

Pride Basketball Club beat Cape Town Sharks Basketball Club by 21-15 in a women's basketball clash at the Gugulethu sports complex on Sunday, March 2. 

The match was a part of six friendly matches organised by Kasi Invitational Games in Gugulethu.

With week seven approaching, the results from week six came with action-packed basketball:

  • Kings lost to the host club, Gugulethu Hustlers, 46-40, in the men's division. 
  • Sharks' men's division team thumped Umoja Basketball, from Delft, 70-42. 
  • Mitchell's Plain's Gladiators got the better of Pride's men's team, with a 56-25 scoreline. 
  • Nyanga's Cape Waves walked away with another win this past weekend, beating Khaltsha Basketball 56-35. 
  • Unity closed the day off with a 48-38 win against Crossroads Basketball Club. 

Before week seven's action, at 12.30pm, on March 9, there will be a draw of teams, for the floating trophy tournament that will take place on March 23 and 30, in Gugulethu.

On March 9, Khaltsha will take on Sharks women's team at 1pm. Gladiators tackle Unity at 2pm, followed by a humdinger between Cape Waves and Sharks men's team at 3pm.

Hustlers will close off the afternoon with a derby clash against Crossroads at 4pm.

Cape Town Sharks got the better of Delft's Umoja Basketball Club with a dominant 70-42 in Gugulethu this past weekend. It was a part of week six of the friendly matches organised under Kasi Invitational Games.
